A couple of weeks ago, I took part in a photo challenge held by a toy photography community in Indonesia. The theme was “Catch Me”. It is a theme which I find very suitable for Gloomy Bear and his eternal victim, Pity :D. The photo challenge was over and I didn’t get to win anything. It’s gonna sound cliche, but a photo challenge is definitely not about winning, it is more about giving me an idea to take a photograph of my toy collection :D
Ladies and gentlemen,
Let me introduce a creature that needs no introduction…ok, I feel like something is wrong with my statement right there, but anyway, please welcome: Domo.
If you don’t know who Domo is, I assume that you live in some pre-historic cave. I mean, Domo is so famous, I heard that in some countries, you could get arrested if you don’t know who he is. But since I’m here to help, I’m gonna explain briefly about Domo..and my explanation is gonna be so brief that I’m just going to give you a Wikipedia link about Domo, here it is :D If there is someone who could not get his mouth shut but somehow still very lovable, then we are definitely talking about Domo.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
Last week, I went to my hometown as a part of my family’s tradition. And I guess this tradition does not only belong to my family but to most families in Indonesia as well. At the end of Ramadhan (a month in Islamic Calendar), it’s usually being followed by a long holiday. This holiday gives people enough time to visit their family back in their hometown.
Hello everyone, time for some random post derived from my random thoughts :D
Since the world has this regular bad news called pollution and global warming, we are being encouraged to be greener than usual. Going literal with the green campaign, some of my toys decide to grow these “green living things” in the backyard (please note that these “green living things” is not an Alien….although Alien is awesome).
Hi folks, we meet again :D
This time, I would like to show you the loots I gathered in the Jakarta Toys & Comic Fair 2012 not long ago. In that event, I bought 3 Nendoroids, and a 2 inch Domo Action Figure :D. It burns a pretty deep hole in my wallet. I would like to justify my action with the argument that “Toys Fair does not happen everyday” LoL. So let’s just start the tour with some photos I’ve taken with those new Nendos and a Domo :D
Nendoroid Hirasawa Ui
I would like to share with you this new toy in my collection, coming from the Revoltech’s Pixar Figure Collection line, this is Wall-E :D
My last Revoltech was the Gloomy Bear, and it was a long time ago. For all that time in between, I didn’t really follow what’s new on Japanese toys. But Wall-E is a totally different story. First of all, I love the movie. Second is that I already though that he could become a wonderful photo object. The search for a Wall-E action figure went for quite sometime, until I got this news that Revoltech is going to give Wall-E that special spot in the Pixar line. So it went on my buying list immediately. And this is my first toy of 2012 ^^
” Wall-E could not get the camera hood off him :( “
Jun and the new PS3 Controller…it’s her favorite color :D
It’s been around 4 years since I bought a Playstation 3. And it is just recently that I feel the need of adding a new controller (Yup, all these time I was always playing all by myself ). The “need” was actually because my girlfriend told me to buy more controller so that we can play games together when she comes by. She didn’t ask for a pink controller but I guess she’ll be happy with one :D. I also think that pink is a really sweet color that matches almost everything. It only looks bad when a dude wears it as a clothing :D
